DESIGN
Our task was to develop the existing staff cafeteria into a functional and on trend space. We developed the layout, user journey and back of house kitchen to create an open, relaxed and communal environment. We worked closely with a committee group to create a welcoming space that enhanced their natural surrounding as well as reflecting their brand identity. We introduced a natural colour palette making the space feel homely, calming and inviting.
As well as creating the front of house we also developed the back of house kitchen and servery to support the cafeterias new dynamic menus. Meeting booths, laptop points and relaxed style seating will encourage more members of staff to use the space throughout the day. The once dull and dated cafeteria has been transformed into a social hub that all can enjoy.
